- Diesel engines ranging from 5 H.P. to 24 H.P., since their inception in early forties India, have shown a tremendous increase in utilization in the field of agriculture, marine, and other industrial applications.

- Fieldmarshal Group companies were incepted in 1963 by the Founder and Chairman Mr. P. N. Patel, under the name of M/s. Patel Manufacturers with an initial capacity of 80 engines per annum which has scaled year after year to more than 1,60,000/- units per annum in 2001, which was one-third of the all India production in Diesel Engines.
- Now, we are also manufacturing the latest technology, lightweight, fuel-efficient, and compact diesel engines ranging from 3 H.P. to 18 H.P. These Fieldmarshal engines, now in production, have multipurpose applications in various fields such as Marine, Construction Equipments, Power Generation, Industrial, Agriculture, Automotive and many more.
- We are also manufacturing lightweight compact diesel mono pump sets ranging from 3 H.P. to 14 H.P. having a wide head range from 8 Mtr. to 55 Mtr.
- We have a complete range of CPCB compliance engines suitable for Genset applications ranging from 2.5 KVA to 82.5 KVA.
- We have also developed engines suitable for power tiller ranging from 5 H.P. to 14 H.P.
- Fieldmarshal – P. M. Diesels Pvt. Ltd. has added to the agricultural and domestic market a variety of Electrical Products like Single / Three Phase Openwell and Borewell Submersible pump sets, Alternator to our present range of products.
- The company has an in-house R&D department headed by qualified degree engineers having more than 20 years of experience and are assisted by qualified engineers in carrying out the development. The R&D department is equipped to carry out any development tests.
- Fieldmarshal has state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Rajkot with ISO 9001:2015 and TS:16949 certifications.
- Today, Fieldmarshal has expanded an extensive sales & service network of more than 2000 dealers & 22 distributors in India and keeps in constant touch with its valued customers.
- Fieldmarshal is also expanding its international footprint. Fieldmarshal products are already being marketed in several countries in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, Australia, the U.K., etc.

Patel Manufacturers is founded in Rajkot, Gujarat, with an initial capacity of 80 slow-speed diesel engines per year — marking the beginning of a legacy in rural power solutions.
1970
Recognition & Expansion
1972
First engine of its kind to receive the “Export Worthy Certificate”.
1974
Establishment of Gujarat Forgings Pvt. Ltd., focused on high-speed engine manufacturing.
1975
First in its category to earn Indian Standards Institution (ISI) certification (now BIS).
1976
Honoured with the Shri Lal C. Verman Award for highest production of ISI-marked products by the Government of India.

National Award for Quality Products by the Government of India. Signs a technical collaboration with Motorenfabrik Hatz GmbH & Co. KG (Germany) for lightweight, high-speed diesel engines (3000 RPM).

Starts production of mini tractors for Mahindra & Mahindra at a new facility in Shapar.

Launches 16.5 HP water-cooled engine for mini tractors. Partners with Mahindra for CPCB-approved Genset engines.

Diversification & Rural Innovation Inaugurates a new plant in Rajkot to expand capacity and produce modern engines.
2011
Begins in-house production of alternators, submersible pumps, and electric products.
2013
First to introduce an Indian-made 14 HP horizontal engine with Trem III A approval.
2014
Successfully clears CPCB II norms for genset engines.
2015
Launches SHRIDEV electrical mini monoblock series.
2016
Develops and clears India’s first solar submersible pump set.

Starts production of Fieldmarshal Induction Motors.

Introduces SHRIDEV mini tractors and weeders.

Diversifies into uPVC, cPVC, and SWR plumbing solutions.

Scaling Power & Performance Enters household segment with domestic flour mills.

SHRIDEV tractors pass CFMT&TI Budni, ARAI, CMVR, and ICT approvals. Launches the Nano, 15 HP and 18 HP models of SHRIDEV tractors.

Launched India’s first Trem V 18 HP Tractor engine.
