Fuel supply insufficient - Fill fuel tank.
Air in fuel system - Remove / rectify fuel leakages.
Fuel filter clogged - Replace filter element.
Water in fuel - Drain fuel tank completely and refill with clean diesel.
Fuel pump linkage stuck up - Release it.
Air cleaner clogged - service air cleaner.
Engine hard to turn ?
Wrong grade of lubricating oil - Drain and fill to correct level oil of correct viscosity.
Battery too low to turn engine - Charge / install new battery.
Internal seizure - Hard crank the engine with injector removed, clutch disengaged if engine does turn due to internal seizure, contact the dealer.
Flywheel ring gear teeth broken - Replace ring gear.
Defective starter motor - Rectify / Replace.
Engine has no compression ?
Incorrect tappet clearance - Check & adjust.
Incorrect adjustment of decompression device - Check & adjust.
Worn out piston, rings liner, Valve seat - Replace it.
Leakage through cylinder head & Injector seat - Check & Rectify.

Defective injector nozzle - Replace.

Air in injection system - Rectify.

Lack of cooling air - Clean cooling air inlet and cooling ribs.
